Proteome analysis is performed to understand the functions and structural properties of proteins. In particular, studies are carried out to investigate the protein structure of genes with the aim of developing diagnosis and treatment methods of diseases. In these laboratories, proteome (proteins formed by organs or cells under special conditions and at a certain time) analysis is performed on materials obtained from various biological sources (human, animal, plant and microorganism). Stress proteins and oxidative protein damages are determined by proteomic techniques. The activities of various enzymes are measured, electrophoretic and chromatographic separation of polypeptides is performed.
