Masks are generally classified as surgical type masks and respiratory system protective masks.

Surgical masks are 3-layer, liquid barrier, tear-resistant, bacteria and particle filtering masks that are used to limit the transmission of contamination by healthcare professionals during the intervention.

Respiratory system masks used in other areas other than health, within the scope of providing occupational safety. Respiratory system masks can be examined under 2 headings as masks that filter particles and masks with cartridges. Particulate filtering masks classified as FFP are mainly used in the health sector. These masks, which cover the nose, mouth and chin, are offered for use with different types such as dust masks, half or full face masks, assisted masks, and reverse pressure masks.
