Photonics is the science that relies on the analysis and processing of the photon (the fundamental part that makes up light). Material performance tests developed for the development of fluorescent materials, conductive polymer synthesis and characterization, structural, thermal, electrochemical characterization and organic electronics can be shown as study examples for materials used in renewable energy, lighting and waste heat evaluation in photonics laboratories. In laboratory studies, diffractometer, atomic force microscope, photoluminescence spectrophotometer, Raman spectrophotometer are among the devices used.
