In accordance with the Regulation of the Ministry of Health, red colored, safe-closable, plastic collection containers used for the collection and accumulation of medical wastes must be produced according to the principles determined in the regulation according to a normal garbage bag. Medical Waste Bag must be resistant to tearing, handling, puncture and leakage and contain the specified load bearing capacity. It should be of appropriate thickness and carry a medical waste emblem. Medical, hazardous, infectious, pathological and penetrating wastes, genotoxic, pharmaceutical and chemical wastes and wastes containing heavy metals are evaluated within this scope.
